Book a College/University Group Tour or Study Visit
The Stanley Visual Classroom (SVC) is a dynamic exhibition space that supports teaching, learning, and research at the University of Iowa.
The Stanley welcomes faculty from all disciplines to use its collection to sharpen students’ observation skills, explore different aspects of culture, build empathy, and support learning objectives.
Students, faculty, and staff from the UI or another college or university may request a self-led tour, a guided tour, or supervised study of objects not currently on display. The space can accommodate a maximum of 25 students at a given time.
Please submit your request at least one month in advance. Even if you are planning a self-guided visit, please fill out the form so that we can ensure there is adequate space in the SVC.
In preparation for Stanley's move into its new building, out-of-hours requests will be limited to the first full week of each month. See SVC hours here.
