Stanley Campus Council
All Campus Council meetings and programs are suspended until face-to-face instruction resumes on campus.
The Stanley Campus Council (SCC) plans student-focused programming for all UI students that strengthens students’ relationship to the museum.
The Stanley Campus Council (SCC) is a student-run advisory board for the UI Stanley Museum of Art founded in Fall 2019. Council members gain experience planning events and also get a behind the scenes look at the museum.
The council is made up of about thirty students, ranging from first-year students to graduate students. It’s led by the Campus Engagement Coordinator, Elly Woods, with the help of Brady Plunger, associate curator of education. SCC events in Fall 2019 included a week-long fiftieth anniversary celebration at locations across campus and a finals week coloring party.
