Dive In with the Stanley: Anna Atkins

  • 7:00 PM–8:00 PM

Online via Instagram Live

Have you heard about slow looking? Every Tuesday we invite you to slow down and spend time looking closely at a work in the museum’s collection. Then, at 7:00 pm central time, join your fellow lookers, Stanley Museum of Art director Lauren Lessing, and film critic Uri Lessing on Instagram Live.

This week, Lauren and Uri explore Anna Atkins’ cyanotype Aspidium lobatum, Goudhurry, Kent. They will go live on Instagram at 7:00 p.m. May 18 to take a deep dive with you into what you see when looking at the artwork.

The program will be saved to Instagram TV if you are not able to join us live.
