Another semester of Night at the Museum has come and gone! Thank you to our incredible student body for visiting the Stanley for programming all year long; here's looking forward to next Fall!

Thursday evening, April 9th, we got together in the lobby for a familiar, stress-free night of crafting: AKA Crafter Hours! In the spirit of Fridays at SMA and our on-going "Crafternoon" series, students were given a wide variety of supplies to make whatever they could think of. We saw some beautiful junk journaling, sculpting with Model Magic, and enjoyed music with a steady background of rainfall to make this event possibly the coziest craft session of them all.

Weather has been unpredictable lately, but we still hope April showers bring May flowers in our gorgeous sculpture garden—make sure to stop by as things burst into bloom! As we reminded students on the 9th, there is also still time and opportunity to get all three of your stamps for your Student Challenge Cards, including attending our Finals Week Study at the Stanley event. During Finals Week, where you can get your third stamp if you still need it, you can exchange a completed Challenge Card for one of three prizes. This year we have our usual Baggu totes and Nalgene water bottles, and now you will also be able to choose from one of five colorful "Art Is For Everyone" bandanas!

As the semester winds down, SMA will still be free and open to everyone who needs to take a breather and pause in the middle of a busy season. Our galleries are full of unbelievable collection items, and programs for creative types of all stripes are regularly available. Check out our calendar on the Stanley's website to see what's up next—and good luck with all your finals, Hawkeyes!
