Select spaces throughout the Stanley are available to host your next lecture, presentation, reception, team meeting, retreat, or other special event. Availability is dependent on scheduled museum and educational programming. Carefully review the unique offerings of each space to learn which may fit your needs most comfortably.
Food and beverage are welcome and encouraged within the designated event space only. University policy and state law stipulates that University Catering must be the sole provider of alcoholic beverages served on the University of Iowa Campus. We highly recommend coordinating with University Catering to create the perfect menu for your event. If a different caterer is preferred to capture your vision, we are happy to discuss this process as well. All menus will be reviewed within two weeks of the event.
The conveniently located Stanley Art Ramp sits just underneath our building, offering 40 spaces at $1.20 per hour up to two hours max. Upon request, spaces in this lot can often be reserved at cost for your event guests. See Plan Your Visit for additional parking options.
Please note: Lobby and terrace requests should be submitted at least two months in advance, and at least three weeks in advance for the Seminar Room.
