Tell us about yourself: I am born and raised in Iowa City. I have worked professionally in fashion buying, merchandising and sales. I have two grown daughters and I am a grandmother.
What inspired you to become a Stanley docent? I have always been a curious person and my interest in all types of art, like fashion, is bolstered by the times in which we live. We have such a gift to the community with this Art Museum; it is thrilling to bring it to anyone who is interested. How can we begin to understand the artists' perspective?
What are you looking forward to in the new building? A great site to share the works here at the U of I, a modern setting with resources for education and outreach.
