I recently moved to Iowa from Illinois over two years ago. Both of our daughters attended the University of Iowa. During our visits to Iowa, I frequently enjoyed the original building on the river. And like so many, I have missed this wonderful museum.
What inspired you to become a Stanley docent?
As a freelance artist and children’s author, I am looking forward to becoming a docent. I have enjoyed studying the art materials and history of the future Stanley Museum.
What are you looking forward to in the new building?
As a new citizen of Iowa, I look forward to becoming more involved in the community. And since I love art history and all things related to art, this has been a great opportunity for learning. Plus, I have enjoyed all the new people I have met in the training program. Josh has been fantastic!!
