Brush Pen Calligraphy Workshop with Tianyi Xie promotional image

Join us for an immersive evening of art and explore the fluid beauty of Chinese ink traditions. Learn fundamental brush pen techniques in a hands-on session led by local artist Tianyi Xie in the museum lobby. Participants will design and create their own custom calligraphy bookmark and examine curated items from Special Collections and Archvies on display. Enjoy light refreshments while connecting with the community. All skill levels are welcome.

This collaborative workshop is held in partnership with the Weaving our Connections Network, Special Collections and Archives, and the Asian Pacific American Cultural Center.
