Feeling stressed at the end of the semester? Join us for an extended Crafternoon, featuring a guided Chill & Create activity.
We invite you to take a creative relaxation break at the Stanley Museum of Art with Chill & Create, a workshop led by Dana Keeton, a local artist and art therapist. Attendees will have the opportunity to work with a variety of materials to create a stick weaving focused on personal strengths. The workshop will include strategies for calming and focusing.
The Chill & Create workshop will last from noon to 2 p.m. After 2 p.m., we'll pick up with our regular Crafternoons offerings. You're encouraged to continue working on what you started with Dana's guidance, or you can use some of the various supplies we typically have on hand for Crafternoons.
No experience required! Light snacks provided. Stay for five minutes or hang out for a while, it's up to you.
