Stanley Creates | Children’s Holiday Apron

Stanley Creates | Children’s Holiday Apron promotional image

Kids and families are invited to the Stanley Museum of Art for story time to read Cook-a-Doodle-Doo! by Janet Stevens and Susan Stevens Crummel, followed by a hands-on activity where kids decorate their own holiday apron. The story follows Big Brown Rooster, great-grandson of the Little Red Hen, as he and his mismatched crew of helpers try to bake a strawberry shortcake and learn that cooking takes teamwork and a careful read of the recipe. Kids go home with an apron of their own, ready for holiday baking in their own kitchens.

Space is limited; please reserve your spot at https://uiowa.doubleknot.com/event/stanley-creates-childrens-holiday-apron/3159185

Please arrive in time for children to settle in and begin the project at 2 p.m.
