Tell us about yourself:
I am a longtime arts and culture enthusiast from Iowa City, and I work at a local land conservation nonprofit. In addition to docent training, I enjoy getting outdoors with my son and dog, and working on my own art projects.
What inspired you to become a Stanley docent?
My dad used to bring me to the former art museum when I was a kid. I loved looking at everything and learning new things about the artwork each time I visited. I wanted to become a Stanley docent because I hope to inspire curiosity and appreciation of art in the community.
What are you looking forward to in the new building?
I am most looking forward to seeing the return of the museum's collections and sharing them with the public.
