I’m Lauren, the new Campus Engagement Coordinator! My main goal for the coming year is to establish a new literary magazine associated with the Stanley Museum of Art. I want to form a student organization that produces journalistic interviews, solicits creative submissions, and brings our university and community in on everything the museum has to offer. If you’re a UIowa student, please keep an eye out for an opportunity to pitch in! 

I’m a Communication Studies major earning a Certificate of Writing, a combination that I’ve found helps cover a ton of my varied interests. I enjoy all things media studies, fiction, and language. I also design “confessions,” which are anonymous, truthful statements that I complement with illustrations, for undergraduate litmag Catharsis.
