This exhibition engages with the artistic and cultural constructions of masculinity within Africa and its diaspora through historical, modern, and contemporary works from the Stanley Museum of Art’s permanent collection, in addition to strategic loans from contemporary artists.

April 2026 - November 2026. This exhibition features the return of Richard Diebenkorn’s recently restored masterpiece, "Ocean Park #17," marking its first public display since 2022 alongside the early masterwork "Berkeley #2" and various prints.
