I am a retired physician and an Iowa native. I have always loved art and art history and enjoy exploring art museums.
What inspired you to become a Stanley docent?
I initially learned of the program from a former docent. I was very excited about the idea and felt it would meld many of my interests as well as my experience with education.
What are you looking forward to in the new building?
I am most looking forward to seeing the art in person! I am also very much looking forward to exploring the intersection between art and medicine and the educational opportunities it presents.
