Night At The Museum: The Art of Voting

Join us for our first installment of Night at the Museum—a series of monthly events for students that occur Thursday nights, when the museum is open late.

This month, the Stanley is focused on promoting exercising your civic duty: voting! Members of Hawk the Vote, a student organization made up of individuals with a shared passion for voter registration, participation, and education at the University of Iowa, will be present to talk with students about the importance of voting (in local, state, and federal elections) and how to register to vote for the first time or update your voter registration.

We will have snacks, a slideshow of photos and art related to political activism, voting-related pinback buttons for you to take, and a few button presses available for you to make your own buttons that express what voting means to you.

Thursday, September 14, 2023 5:00pm to 6:30pm
