Join us for the first Stanley Sage session of the year, a program designed for older adults. This month, local artist Jan Friedman will discuss her career, process, and inspirations.

Stanley Sage aims to inspire older adults to engage with the arts by learning about local artists experiences and the museums collection.

Jan Friedman has been weaving since 1974. Jan received her MA in Textile Design at the University of Iowa in 1980. She has conducted workshops in weaving, color, and dyeing across the United States. Her tapestries and framed collage pieces have been featured in numerous invitational and juried exhibits and have been commissioned for both private homes and corporate collections.

This program is supported by the Barbara and Richard Csomay Center for Gerontological Excellence.
