Every Friday from 2:30-4 p.m.
Each Friday, the Stanley offers UI Students an opportunity to ease out of a week of classes and enter the weekend refreshed. During the wind down, students are invited to drop in and visit the galleries to sketch, meditate, and practice mindfulness. Sketch materials and information on self-guided mediation are available for free at the front desk.
- Experience a guided mediation and brief discussion about stress management led by Koru Mindfulness teachers trained to support college students and young adults through mindfulness, meditation, and stress management.
Create and Chill
- A unique and hands-on program that integrates art viewing, art making and mindfulness strategies to provide students with tools to de-stress, manage anxiety, and develop wellness practices.
