Every Friday from 2:30-4 p.m.

Each Friday, the Stanley offers UI Students an opportunity to ease out of a week of classes and enter the weekend refreshed. During the wind down, students are invited to drop in and visit the galleries to sketch, meditate, and practice mindfulness. Sketch materials and information on self-guided mediation are available for free at the front desk.

Guided Meditation

Experience a guided mediation and brief discussion about stress management led by Koru Mindfulness teachers.

Koru Mindfulness teachers are trained to support college students and young adults through mindfulness, meditation, and stress management. This once-a-month event is part of the Stanley's weekly Mindfulness in the Museum series where students are invited to the museum from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on Fridays to relax, sketch, read, meditate, and practice mindfulness to ease out a week of classes and enter the weekend refreshed.
