“As the Museum Programs intern, I assist with public programming put on by the Stanley, primarily by capturing and editing video of lectures. I do this by facilitating Zoom broadcasts of public programs and managing a complex setup of camera, computer, and sound equipment. I love helping out at these events, hearing the speakers, and learning new things as I do my job. After I edit the recordings, I go through and edit the automatic closed captions so that they are accurate. There are often a lot of corrections to make, especially with art and artist names.

This year, I also worked on a personal project throughout my internship, which was a collection of playlists inspired by the galleries in the Homecoming exhibition. I’m excited to take on a bigger project next year, and already have some ideas about what I might like to accomplish!.”
