Explain your experience working for the Stanley:

I’ve been lucky enough to have worked at the Stanley since the August 2022 opening. My role as a gallery host has consisted of welcoming guests, answering questions, and helping with events.

How did your involvement at the Stanley complement your studies?

I’m graduating from the University of Iowa with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Educational Psychology. Even though my job as a gallery host is different from my area of study, I've really valued how it's allowed me to explore my interests in art and museums.

What was your favorite moment or part of working at the Stanley?

There’s been so many great moments working here at the Stanley. One of my favorite parts has been awarding prizes to people for completing the scavenger hunt.

Where are you headed next?

This next year I’ll be in living in Iowa City before eventually applying to grad school to receive a master's to pursue a career as a school psychologist.

What will you miss most about Iowa?

What I’ll miss most about the University of Iowa is working alongside my coworkers at the Stanley as a student employee.
