Pairing Art with Literature will be led by Stanley Docent David Duer. Participants will consider and discuss selected artists, such as Pueblo potter Lucy M. Lewis, and their artworks in light of kindred writers and their literary works. David Duer is a poet and memoirist who recently retired from teaching English language arts at Cedar Rapids Washington High School. He is a docent at the Stanley Museum of Art and the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, a member of the Iowa City Poetry Advisory Board...
