Be in the center of the celebration by volunteering during our opening weekend! The roles below will directly support a variety of activities throughout the museum.

Event Setup (indoor/outdoor)
Where: Gibson Square Park, lobby
When: Friday afternoon; Saturday morning; Saturday @ 3:00pm; Sunday morning
What: Place chairs, tables, stanchions and signage to prepare spaces for the day's events and performances.
Greeter (indoor/outdoor)
Where: Main entrance plaza, lobby
When: All Weekend
What: Welcome visitors, provide program information and way-finding through the building, monitor attendees for safety and accessibility concerns. Keep the flow moving through lobby space to prevent backups.
Information Guide (indoor/outdoor)
Where: Lobby, second and third levels
When: All Weekend
What: Create a friendly, welcoming environment and assist in creating a unique and customized visitor experience. Support Gallery Hosts by greeting visitors and providing them with information regarding works on view and wayfinding.
Refreshment Stations (indoor/outdoor)
Where: Gibson Square Park and lobby
When: Friday 4:00pm - 9:00pm; Saturday 9:30am - noon; Saturday noon-9:00pm; Sunday 11:30am - 5:00pm
What: Refill beverage containers, operate popcorn machine and serve to guests, stock items as needed. All refreshments complimentary to guests; no cash handling required.
Art Making Tables Support (outdoor)
Where: Gibson Square Park
When: All Weekend
What: Embrace your creativity by guiding visitors of all ages through interactive art making activities alongside Stanley Campus Council members.
Event Teardown (indoor/outdoor)
Where: Gibson Square Park, lobby
When: Friday 8:30pm - 9:30pm; Saturday 5:30-6:30pm; Saturday 8:30-9:30pm; Sunday 5:30pm - 6:30pm

When: Tuesday through Sunday mornings and afternoons, Thursday evenings.
What: Create a friendly, welcoming environment and assist in creating a unique and customized visitor experience. Support Gallery Hosts by greeting visitors and providing them with information regarding exhibitions, programs, and events.
Programming & Special Event Greeter
Where: Throughout the museum
When: Afternoons and evenings, as needed.
What: Welcome attendees, provide program information and way-finding through the building, monitor attendees for safety and accessibility concerns.

What: On occasion, the museum needs help with organizing, filing, data entry, phone calling or other office related tasks.
