Reflections from our Graduating Gallery Hosts, Spring 2025

Spring 2025 marks the graduation of six of our gallery hosts--that's half of the year's team! Additionally, half of this year's graduates have been with the museum since it reopened in August of 2022. Working with the Undergraduate Art History Society (UAHS), and student artists across campus, we turned our lobby space into another gallery which hosted over 150 guests! For our March installment of Night at the Museum, we hosted a collaging, junk journaling, and button-making night. Students were welcomed to join us, work on crafts, listen to music, have snacks, and learn a bit from a pamphlet we made featuring women in the arts--both at the Stanley and in the Iowa City community.
